Vin Rowe are proud to announce their appointment as the Australian Importer of Bucktons Wagons from New Zealand. For further information check out Buckton Wagons under “Hay, Silage and Feedout Equipment”.
During a recent visit to Europe Graham Rowe – Director, and Patricia Bailey – Marketing Manager, took advantage of catching up with Austrian company Einboeck. As importer and distributor of the Einboeck range of tillage and crop care equipment, we believe it is extremely important to continue to maintain a close relationship with our Austrian family.
We met with Martin Wagner – Export Manager, Einboeck. Our discussions focused mainly on the future of our relationship and increasing the market of Einboeck products in Australia.
We met the team at Einboeck and were then taken on a factory tour. It was clear that Einboecks modern production plant including laser-cutting equipment and their continued further development in modern technology helped the company to maintain its strong position in the market and prepared them for the future.
We were extremely pleased to meet Mr. Leopold Einboeck, the third generation owner-manager of Einboeck. Mr. Einboeck believes that good partnerships are very important and is positive about our ongoing relationships.

VALENTINI – BIG & STRONG
Vin Rowe is excited to announce that it has been appointed as the Australian importer for Italian Company Valentini.
Since its establishment in the mid 1970’s, Italian company Valentini has forged a reputation as an innovative and high quality manufacturer of tillage equipment. Its range of rotary hoes and power harrows has gained notoriety for their sturdy construction and ease of transportation.
In 1998 the company started production on its range of stone crushers. Initially built to enable previously unusable land to be farmed, these products have also gained a foothold in the road and forest maintenance industries.
Valentini has already established an excellent reputation in Australia with a number of farmers already using their range of power harrows and rotary hoes.
With models all the ranging from 1.4 up to 8 metres there is a machine for the small farmer all the way up to the larger contractor.
Aside from its robust construction, the beauty of Valentini Power Harrows and Rotary Hoes are that they are foldable by way of hydraulic rams – allowing for easier transportation on Australian roads.
Valentini is very aware of building its machinery to suit a range of tough conditions – over 70% of its production is exported to countries as far afield as Turkey, Japan, South Africa and now Australia.

Comments OffThe 50 year old success story of Vin Rowe Farm Machinery began in 1961 when Vin Rowe, after working for Laceys of Sale (General engineers and agricultural machinery retails) moved to Warragul to open and manage a new branch for the company. The business was established as a New Holland Machinery and David Brown Tractor Dealer.
In the early 60’s West Gippsland was a booming dairy area and one of the most productive in the country.
Vin, together with local agricultural machinery dealers John Woods and Earl French, founded the Warragul Field Days (now known as Farm World) which has grown to be one of Australia’s largest farm machinery exhibitions.
In 1970 Vin took over the business in Warragul himself and formed Vin Rowe Pty Ltd. Soon after the company took on the Datsun Car Franchise and moved to its current Endeavour Street premises.
In the mid 70’s with the discontinuance of milk contracts and a general downturn in dairy farming, it became obvious that the company needed to diversify its product line.
During the same period Melbourne’s urban sprawl was increasing and as a result many vegetable growers moved from the outskirts of the city to Gippsland.
Whilst still involved with the dairy farming industry Vin sought out involvements with suppliers of equipment compatible with vegetable growers needs. Around this time the company became the Australian Importer and Distributor for the Danish carrot machinery manufacturer ASA-Lift.
By bringing the Faun 1600 harvester into the country Vin was part of something of a revolution in the Australian Potato Industry with the advent of automated harvesting. This helped to establish a sound foundation for the development of the company.
In 1983, Vin’s son, Graham Rowe took over the running of the business.
Further realizing the need for diversity Graham expanded the import and distribution section which is today a very important part of the business.
Vin Rowe Farm Machinery has continued with its family tradition by appointing Graham’s son Nick Rowe as a Director. Nick is now the 3rd generation to join the company.
Graham and Nick are also joined by Stephen Pike as Director.
The brief of the company today is to import and sell the most innovative machinery available and to offer the best possible service after the sale and to treat and respect our customers as friends.
Graham says his father taught him honesty and dependability and he strongly encourages these principles to remain as the company continues to grow today.
There’s no doubt – The Boss Feeder is the Leader. Here’s why:
- All steel construction
- Revolutionary new design
- Feeds out round and square hay bales
- One piece pressed steel for extra strength
- Completely covered in floor means no wastage
The Boss Feeder Leader has large heavy frame with centre post to carry weight.
60mm prongs extending through box plate welded to double clevis linkage pins creating extra strength to carry up to 2 ton of silage.
It also has a unique sliding top link which makes it easier to connect the bale fork frame to the cradle.
Heavy duty robust locking catch system holding the fork frame and cradle together.
The Boss Feeder Leader is less likely to fall apart with fixed bottom welded sheet for strength, strong fork frame and long lasting moly bushes.
The shafts are covered in to eliminate silage wrapping.
It has a 3” roller pitch chain with a breaking strain of 15,000 pounds (7.5 tones) and a special chain guide system which means never needing to adjust tension.
The Feeder Leader has box section steel for flat feet which stops the feeder moving around when hooking up.

Vin Rowe Farm Machinery is the Australian Importer for Austrian made Einböck range of weeding and tillage equipment.
We recently undertook a number of demonstrations of the Taifun Cultivator in the Ballarat district.
The Taifun is a multipurpose machine for seed bed preparation – suitable for large or small acreage. The machine received almost universal acclaim for its performance and ability to handle a variety of conditions with ease. The Taifun also received praise from growers for its ability to level and prepare a seed bed.
The Ballarat area is characterized by some very stony areas and the Taifun handled these conditions very well. In Rape, the Taifun removed nearly all stubble on a double pass.
Area farmers were also impressed with how easy the Taifun was to set up and swap from tractor to tractor if needed.
All in all the general consensus from Ballarat farmers is that the Taifun is an excellent secondary cultivator with a high quality and sturdy build and impressed with its ability to handle a wide variety of soil types.
If you’d like to find out more about the Einböck range, please Contact Us.
